Build Your Positive Energy

Mar 18, 2020 | John Whitehorse Personal Message, Shamanic Healing

Our reality is shaped by the ways in which we think and approach the world. Creating a positive mindset can have an enormous impact on that experience. It may seem to be an awesome challenge at first, the act of honoring our best thoughts and intentions. But, in the end, the effort is well worth it. The power of positive energy builds us into a being who enjoys everyday experiences, weaves joy into our lives and the lives of those around us. Harnessing positive energy improves our well being and drives us towards our true goals. And building it is easier than you think.

Focus Your Energy

It is just as easy to appreciate your blessings and be grateful for the wonder in your life as it is to complain and see the darkness around the corner. Focus more on what enriches your life rather than what can go wrong. It is okay to acknowledge your struggles or frustrations but also acknowledge how those hardships have improved you and made you stronger.

Take time to focus on visualizing good fortune, peace, calm, and happiness. Continually fostering chaos and negative vibes is bound to radiate out to other aspects of your life including work, relationships, and general interactions in the world. Concentrate on attracting positive power and use that power to help others.

Remember to focus energy on taking care of yourself emotionally and physically. Good health and a cheerful state of mind will shine through and provide a buffer for when the inevitable challenge comes along.

Be Kind to Yourself

Self-acceptance and self-love are crucial to building your positive energy. Accept yourself as you are right now, not as you wish you could be in a few months or a few years. Give yourself leeway to make a few mistakes. Don’t expend energy on what went wrong but use your energy to identify the positive lessons you learned from the experience.

Allow yourself a few words of encouragement. A daily affirmation of your best qualities is a terrific way to encourage yourself. It’s easy to beat yourself up so turn the tables and use that energy to be good to yourself. For every negative comment you make about yourself, think of three compliments. Keep a daily gratitude list to track your most inspiring thoughts. Negative thinking can be hard to stop. Actively work to change the tone of your thoughts from negative to positive. William James stated, “Thoughts become perception, perception becomes reality. Alter your thoughts, alter your reality.”

Live in The Moment

The past is the past. Let go of it. You can’t do anything to change it. Forgive yourself and forgive others that may have contributed to your negative wave. Move forward with compassion and uplifting energy and be present in the moment. Holding on to past pain, disappointments or sadness impacts you more than anyone else who was involved.

Pursue your passions and find joy in those moments. Be present and interested in whatever you are doing even when it is mundane or ordinary. Focusing on the ‘here and now’ and positive pursuits keeps your mind in an open and energized state ready to seek and find the positive.
